- This synopsis is notification of the Agencys intent to extend contract DABT11-00-C-0007 for a period of six months starting 01 Oct 06 through 31 Mar 07 to the incumbent contractor, IAP World Services, Inc, 7315 N. Atlantic Ave., Cape Canaveral, FL 3 2920-3721. A competitive contract started on 01 Oct 00 for installation support services at Fort Gordon, GA, in fifteen functional areas: I-Mobilization Related Missions, Deployment and Contingency Planning Services; II-Resource Management Services; III-E ngineer Work Order Reception, Tracking and Design Services; IV-Environmental Effects Services; V-U-Do-It Services; VI-Facilities Maintenance and Repair Services, VII-Grounds and Surfaced Areas Services; VIII-Pest Control Services; IX-Plant Operations Servi ces; X- Project Accomplishment Services; XI-Housing Services, XII-Transportation Services, XIII-Installation Transportation Motor Pool Services, XIV-Installation Supply Services, XV-Maintenance, Communication-Electronic, Vehicles and General Support Equipm ent Repair. The extension will be performed under the same terms and conditions as the existing contract with the exception of Functional Area XI-Housing Services. The contract type is a cost plus award fee. The extension will provide uninterrupted service s to the Fort Gordon installation pending award of a competitive follow-on contract. This action is accomplished under the authority cited 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services W ill Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and is posted for 15 days. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this extension period would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the contract will be extended without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract extension period based on this notice is solely within the discretion o f the Government.
