The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about July 10, 2006. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project consists of the general construction of a reinforced concrete slab foundation for a 32,550 gallon steel ground storage reservoir and an adjacent reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab for a prepackaged fire pump house structure. The work also includes demolition of an existing reinforced concrete foundation for an elevated steel water tower which is to be removed by others and grouting of the new fire pump foundation. Construction of the foundations shall be coordinated to assure proper fit up of the piping between the new reservior and the pump house. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR: July 24, 2006 @ 9:00 AM. Contractors shall meet at the Maintenance Building, 1990 Maintenance Way, Richmond, VA 23231. The NAICS code is 238110. This Request for Quotatons (RFQ) is issued pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns, regardless of size. It is anticipated that the government will award a firm fixed price contract to the low, responsive, responsible Offeror. Quotations are due Aug 14, 2006 by 4:30 PM. The project estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000.
