- This contract will provide copier and multifunctional device service support for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Eastern Recruiting Region, Parris Island, South Carolina; the Naval Hospital, Beaufort, South Carolina; Naval Dental Centers on Parris Island, South Carolina and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Beaufort, South Carolina; Strike Fighter Wing VFA-86, MCAS, Beaufort, South Carolina; and Combat Service Support Detachment 23, MCAS, Beaufort, South Carolina. Multifunctional devices that will be placed on the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) ?MUST? be certified by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) and NMCI before they will be allowed on the NMCI network. NIAP Certification must be present by date of contract award and NMCI Certification must be obtained within 120 calendar days of contract award. Each model copier and multifunctional device shall comply with all the general requirements stated within the Statement of Work (SOW), plus those specific requirements applicable to the volume band provided for that copier and multifunctional device. Multifunctional devices and copiers located at the Naval Hospital and Naval Dental Centers ?MUST? be compliant by Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The Hipaa security standards provide the mechanisms that support efforts to protect privacy. It covers information on hard drives, removable/transportable digital memory medium (magnetic tape disk), and transporting electronically via the internet, e-mail or other means.
