Description

Description: Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition & Procurement Office (WHS, A&PO) on behalf of the Office of Undersecretary of Defense (OUSD), Policy Planning intends to award a sole source contract to Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Incorporated, 1604 Spring Hill Rd., Suite 200, Vienna, VA 22182-2229 The proposed contract action is for professional assessment and analysis services in support of the office?s mission that focuses on global defense posture. Contractor personnel who work on this project must have SECRET clearances and the contractor facility must be cleared to the SECRET level. The Government intends to solicit only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This requirement is an extension of work not completed under another contract. No solicitation will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. Performance period is for 12 months from date of award. Award is anticipated on or about 1 August 2006. Interested firms may email capability statements to the attention of Karen Rooney at: karen.rooney@whs.mil. Capability statements must be received within 10 days from publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
