Description
This acquisition is for the following item: NSN: 5841-01-360-1338LG, P/N: 100-601260-001, Noun: Ground Speed Drift Angle Indicator, applicable to the MC-130E Combat Talon Aircraft. FUNC: Computes and displays aircraft groundspeed and drift angle as output by a doppler velocity sensor for pilot use. The basic quantity is 3 each with two Out Year options of 1-2 respectively. No technical data is available for manufacturing. Destination: Robins AFB GA 31098. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. See WEB page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ . To CMC Electronics Inc, (CAGE 90073), 600 DR. Frederik Philips Blvd, Saint Laurent, Canada H4M 2S9. Justification: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Only One or a Limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
