Description: The construction of two trail bridges. Work consist of but not limited to: Abutments, log stringer bridge with hand rails and two spans, a glue laminated bridge with a single span, removal of the remains of an existing bridge, excavation, riprap, aggregate, structural concrete, treated timber and lumber,soil and erosion control. The solicitation and specifications will be available from this site on or near July 18, 2006. The Government's estimate range is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. There is a $25.00 charge for the drawings. Drawings may be requested by submitting a check or money order made payable to the USDA-Forest Service submitted to Attention: Procurement, P. O. Box 2750, Asheville, NC 28802
