IF SINGLE LINE ITEMS HAVE BEEN ASSEMBLED INTO MAJOR COMPONENT, SHIPPING DOCUMENTS MUST ACCOUNT FOR THE INDIVIDUAL ITEMS SHIPPED WITHIN THE MAJOR COMPONENT. DOS established hardware standards based on the requirements of the financial applications that we support. Some of the those applications produce printed output that is coded to print on specific printers (by manufacturer and model). The printers requested fall into that area of requirement. By purchasing specific printers we eliminate the time, cost, and expense (in software developers time) to recode and retest the same output on different (new) printers. DOS found a significant "side benefit" of standardizing our printer hardware (in addition to the cost savings noted above) in the money savings we experience in toner cartridge purchasing. As all of our printers use only three different print cartridges. Introducing other models will not allow us to experience the cost savings we currently enjoy for bulk purchasing Print output continuity via redundancy i.e. our users are able to route their print jobs to any one of several different printers. AS each printer is configured in the same way (because they are the same make of printer), no changes need to be made to the output selection. The users are guaranteed to get the same output from each printer (of the same type, of course) A) Sellers must bid exact match to spec (make, model and spec) B)The products offered in this bid are brand new, not gray market and are in original packaging. C) Seller is providing these products via Hewlett Packard authorized channels for new equipment Federal sales. D) Full Hewlett Packard warranties will be provided and none of these products will have a negative impact on the warranties of associated system components. *NO COMPATIBLES. MUST BID NEW ONLY, HP ONLY (NO REFURBISHED, NO LIKE-MFR WILL BE ACCEPTED!)
