- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a sole-source basis from Northrop Grumman PRB Systems., 43865 Airport View Drive, Hollywood, Maryland, 20636, Training Readiness Assessment Device (TRAD 600). Northrop Grumman PRB Systems is the Original Equipment Manufacture for the TRAD 600. The North American industry Classification System code is 334112, 1,000 standard size. The order shall be a firm fixed prices purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The delivery date shall be FOB destination on or before 07 January 2007 to 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448. The quotation number is N00178-06-Q-1191. All interested parties shall contact XDS118 at (540) 653-7478 or email DLGR_NSWC_XDS11@navy.mil and indicate their interest and capability to receive a list of equipment. This procurement is DO priority rated. Quote is due 10 July 2006 no later than 2:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Building 183, First Floor, Room 102, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 and anticipated award by 17 July 2006. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition arena; therefore, this synopsis/solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at Http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY/. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Quoters may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor?s EFT information contained on the CCR database. Hard copies will not be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. DoD will no longer award to Contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
