- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation to negotiate a Firm Fixed priced Task Order for Engineering Support Services. Solicitation/Request for Quote (RFQ) # OPS000000072006 is being issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 ? Streamlined Solicitation for Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541690. The period of performance for this requirement is not to exceed one year from date of award. This is the United States Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Office of Operational Systems, intent to acquire engineering support services for the Operations Division, Maintenance Branch. Please see the attached Statement of Work that provides the description of service; inclusive of developing and conducting radiosonde observation training at 10 International Caribbean locations. Site locations can be viewed by uploading the attachment under this notice. Travel to the site locations will be in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations and FAR Part 31.205-46, Travel Costs. The period of performance is anticipated not exceed one year from date of award. All responses to this notice must be submitted electronically to Jenista.M.Featherstone@noaa.gov.
