Description

ISSUE DATE: 07/24/06. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to conduct maintenance dredging and mooring modifications at U. S. Coast Guard Station Portsmouth Harbor New Castle, NH (Rockingham County). The work includes dredging approximately 3,800 cubic yards of gravelly silt with some sand and trace organics and disposal of this material at the offshore Portland Disposal Site and incidental related work. Additionally, seven (7) existing mooring lines will be modified by replacing the steel chains with a custom-design nylon rope. The estimated cost range of this project is $250,000 to $500,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 07/24/06. The due date for receipt of proposals is scheduled for 08/23/06 at 2:00 pm. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 237990 and the size standard is $18.5 million.
