Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using simplified acquisition procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This acquisition will be solicited as a small business set aside for 4 EA Cargo body enclosures. The Equipment will be used for to support the transportation and operation of Threat Radar Emitter simulator and PADDS/MADSS systems. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-06-T-0592. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-09 and DFARS Change Notice 20060616. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 336211 and the Small Business Standard in number of employees is 1000. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Detachment Seal Beach requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: ITEM 0001 QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 2 EA Slip-in Cargo Body Enclosure Unit for standard full size 4 WD truck bed with cab-over 8? bed length by 72-74 inches tall (12?overall length including cab-over) ITEM 0002 2 EA Slip-in Cargo Body Enclosure Unit for standard full size 4WD truck bed with cab-over: 8?bed length by 72-74 inches Tall (12?overall length including cab-over) ITEM 0003 4 EA Standard COTS Manuals: Operation and Maintenance Instructions. Items to be provided in accordance with the following specifications and requirements: 0001-Slip-In Cargo body enclosure unit 1.0 Requirements 1.1. A one-piece mono-body capsule that has full floor support capable of holding the contents even when it is removed from a vehicle 1.2 Pre-configured and factory ready for immediate work service. 1.3 The "Cargobody" has an onboard built-in four point lockdown system that facilitates the quick engagement (2 Min.) to any host vehicle. This "Quick Lock System" enables full vehicle installation without the requirement of any vehicle modification such drilling holes or use of bolts and other hardware. 1.4. On board built-in jack receptacles (4) for optional slip-in jack stands for vehicle transfer or stationary use of Cargobody 1.5 Set of four jack stands, heavy duty capacity 1.6 Interior dome lights (minimum of 6 running down center of roof) 1.7 Dual locking rear cargo doors (w/ tinted windows - one per door) w/automotive slam shut latches 1.8 Double walled industrial fiberglass flooring (skid resistant matting) 1.9 One driver side workbench/cabinet setup (84? long x 20? wide with: 1.9.1 Cabinet, below work surface, multi-drawer configuration 1.9.2 Shelf unit, roof mounted (above desk) w/ multiple sliding doors 1.9.3 Work surface lighting, full length (located below roof cabinets) 1.10 Six full-size interior shelving units (60? long x 12? deep) ? capable of adjustable spacing with dividers for standard type bin boxes and most toolboxes.
