- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) E002808 is assigned and shall be referenced on all communications related to this synopsis/solicitation. All incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-10. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210 with a Business Size Standard is $21.0 million dollars. The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to award a contract on a sole source, firm fixed price one time purchase to Stellent Chicago Sales, Inc., 330 N. Wabash Avenue, 15th Floor, Chicago, IL 60611-3603 for the purchase of (5) five each Outside in HTML Export, (5) five each Extended Price Outside In HTML Export, (5) five each Outside In XML Export and (5) five each Extended Price Outside In XML under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Based on market research conducted using the results of previous purchases for similar products, catalogues, the World Wide Web, and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals in Government and the related industry, it has been determined the FBI?s requirement for the above-listed items can only be provided by Stellent Chicago Sales, Inc., as they are the manufacturer and sole distributor of the required software. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit quotes to this office by 4:00 PM, EST, Thursday, July 14, 2006, via facsimile to the attention of Mabel Comfort, Contracting Officer, at (202)324-3104. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12 and 13.5.
