Description

Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to "Remodel Special Care Unit, Bldg. 30" for project 538-05-101, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio as required by the drawings and specifications. The work includes, but is not limited to architectural, interior finishes, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work, as shown and specified. Work to be completed within 540 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans, specifications, and drawings will be available on line. Hard copies of specifications and drawings will be available upon written request to the Contracting Officer, requests may be faxed to 740-772-7008. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. EST at the DVA Medical Center, Building 1, room 121, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio; all prospective contractors, subcontractors, and supplies are urged to attend. As this is an occupied patient area, this will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. This project is 100% Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
