The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a competitive requirement for a project titled, Temporary Lodging Fac ility, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. The project consists of 1) Construct separate attached building modules in a residential neighborhood setting on a vacant site, resulting in a total of 35 individual living units, with housekeeping spaces, mechanical room s and other functional and operational spaces for a total approximate area of 55,000 square feet. 2) Provide exterior amenities to support the TLF to include roadways and sidewalks (providing access to the adjacent public school), centralized parking, spe cial delivery area and emergency vehicle access, circulation path, tot lot playground, site preparation, site utilities and landscaping. 3) Provide operational and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings and equipment lists. The completion period is estim ated at 450 calendar days. The NAICS code for this project is 236220. The solicitation will be a design bid build RFP utilizing best value source selection evaluation procedures to award a fixed-price contract in accordance with non-appropriated fund reg ulations. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available to download on or about 28 July 2006 at: http://www.FedTeDS.gov. NO CD's OR HARD COPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE.
