Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Hoover Dam, has a requirement for Jamesbury Butterfly Valves and miscellaneous parts for an eductor supply line. Valves must be JAMESBURY valves. NO SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. A determination for this brand name has been completed and is on file in the Contracting Office. This requirement is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 332911. The size standard is 500 employees. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. You may register by going to: www.ccr.gov. You will need your Dun & Bradstreet number and banking information. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about July 7, 2006, and awarded on or about July 20, 2006; however, all dates in this announcement are subject to change. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov. A Request for Quote is being issued to facilitate submittal of quotes through electronic commerce, and to view all applicable clauses and attachments.
