- Description
- The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS), Physical Capital Asset Management Division (PGE) of behalf of the Office of Applied Sciences, intends to procure on a sole source basis subscriptions/annual memberships with (1) firm of Genscape, Louisville, KY for an annual subscription to the firm's real time electricity generation planT monitoring services; (2) firm of CoreNet Global, Atlanta, GA for annual membership; (3) firm of Work Design Collaborative, LLC, Prescott, AZ for membership in Future of Work; and (4) Carnegie Mellon University, Center for Building Performance and Diagnostics, Pittsburgh, PA for Advanced Buildings Systems Integration (ABSIC) Membership. All subscription/annual memberships with be procured under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) Only One Source Reasonable Source. These are sole source procurements since the Genscope subscription; CoreNet Global; Future of Work; and ABSIC memberships are the only such membership programs available that will meet the needs of the Office of Applied Sciences. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price Purchase Order for each subscription/membership on or about July 26, 2006, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) not is it a Request for Proposals (RFP). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government. All information received by the POC listed below by 3:30 pm est, Wednesday, July 19, 2006, will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contracts based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
