Description
The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the US Army Chief of Chaplains issuing a request for quotation (RFQ). This RFQ is a 100 percent set-aside for small business. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 337 214. The small business size standard is 500 employees. 1.0 SCOPE OF WORK: The U.S. Army Chief of Chaplains moved into its current office space in 2001. The predominant office furnishings are modular systems furniture, all fabricated from a similar design and material. The building was furnished using JOFCO products. In order to maintain consistency of appearance and single point of contact maintenance, the policy to date is that all new systems furniture should be of the same manufacture and/or as close in quality and appearance as is physically possible. 2.0 SPECIFIC TASKS/REQUIREMENTS: a. The procurement, delivery, configuration and installation of the parts and pieces of equipment necessary to install wall mounted cabinets which will closely match and conform to the style and appearance of the offices existing JOFCO systems furniture. . See attached floor plan drawing for details. Specific requirements for the cabinets are as follows: Wall mounted storage cabinet with adjustable shelf, doors and trim, Mahogany on walnut finish. Hardware to be bronzed and brushed for each of these three storage cabinets. 1 Each - Cabinet will be 40 inches high, 14 inches deep and 210 inches long. 1 Each - Cabinet will be 40 inches high, 14 inches deep and 48 inches long, 1 Each - Cabinet will be 40 inches high, 14 inches deep and 58 inches long. b. The procurement, delivery, configuration and installation of the parts and pieces of equipment necessary to install file storage cabinets in a built in storage space. See attached floor plan drawing for details. Specific requirements for the file stor age cabinets are as follows: 3 Each - Lateral files, 18 inches deep x 36 inches wide x 72 inches high containing five each 10-1/2 inches file drawers and one each 15 inches binder storage shelf. Color grey. 1 Each - Lateral file, 18 inches deep x 36 inches wide x 47 inches high containing four each 10-? inches file drawers. Color grey 3.0 Delivery and installation of items will be NLT 30 days from the effective date of contract award. 4.0 HOURS OF WORK: All contractor work must be performed during the Office of the Chief of Chaplains normal hours of operation (Monday thru Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Click on services then click on RFPs, then find solicitation number W74V8H-06-T-0124. Please submit a Firm-Fixed Price with item d escription providing sufficient information for evaluation but not more than 5 pages. The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible Offeror whose proposal conforming to this synopsis will be acceptable to the Government i n term of quality and appearance of products that are same or equal to JOFCO, timely performance and at the lowest price. Questions regarding this RFQ should be received NLT 13 Jul 2006. The RFQ will close 17 Jul 2006, 3:30 p.m. EST. All offerors are required to submit an email copy of the quote to phuong.newhart@hqda.army.mil.
