Description
The US ARMY ARDEC, Picatinny NJ is seeking product information on technologies capable of object identification and/or situational assessment through opaque barriers. The product should provide the capability to recognize potential threats through walls or ground, up close and at distance. The system minimally consists of a sensor, power supply, display, user interface and network interface. The system weight shall not exceed 30 pounds while in a fully functional man-packable configuration, independent of secondary power sources such as vehicles or generators. External communication with the sensor must be available through one or more of the following: Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g. The system must also meet US military extreme environmental and operational safety requirements. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interests by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, demonstration video and other technical data as well as identification of current customers and rough indication of pricing for a single. All data should be sent at no cost to the US Government by July 24, 2006 to the US Army ARDEC.
