- ALL INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO READ THIS ENTIRE POSTING. THIS IS AN INFORMATION NOTICE ONLY. DO NOT SUBMIT A PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. SOLICITATION NUMBER W909MY-06-R-Z068 IS ASSIGNED FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY. U.S. Army Materiel Command (HQ AMC) will be conducting Market Research to assess the feasibility of awarding a corporate contract to a single prime contractor capable of performing a broad range of support services to the headquarters to improve operationa l effectiveness while reducing overall total support cost. The length of the proposed contract would be approximately five (5) years in duration. Currently, HQ AMC is meeting its headquarters support requirements through a broad range of business and logi stics support service contracts through a variety of contractual instruments to include indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contracts, orders against General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedules, Blanket Purchase Agreements, etc. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is being developed to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the proposed requirement. A Request for Information (RFI) with a draft PWS will be released within the next couple of weeks for industry review and comment. The PWS electronic file will be posted on the Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command Interactive Business Opportunity Page https://abop.monmouth.army.mil/ Interested parties will be required to register at the website prior to accessing the documents. A copy of this notice will be posted at the Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command Interactive Business Opportunity Page under Army Pre-Award CECOM Market Research. The Governments overall Acquisition Strategy has not been determined and will be DICTATED IN PART BY THE RESPONSES received. Industry will be encouraged to provide feedback regarding selection of the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for the effort described by the draft PWS and provide detailed rationale if they believe another code and associated small business size standard is applicable. Small businesses are encouraged to provide details regarding teaming arrangements consis tent with current Small Business Administration (SBA) affiliation rules to demonstrate capabilities to satisfy draft PWS requirements. The Government will not reimburse interested sources or responders to this notice or follow on RFI & PWS documents posted for any costs incurred in responding, or for subsequent exchanges of information.
