The USAID/Ethiopia program covers emergency relief, humanitarian assistance, private sector activities, PEPFAR, health and education, agriculture and trade, and democracy and governance support activities. The FY 05 OYB was $143 million and is implemented through large and complex contracts and grants. The operating expense level for the Ethiopia Mission is approximately $3.5 million per annum.
