Description: The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Research Service, Corn Insects and Crop Genetics intends to negotiate solely with Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA, for the following items to be used with an Applied Biosystems 3700 DNA Analyzer with current established protocols: (1) BigDye Terminator v3.1 Cycle sequencing kit, 5000 reactions, (2) POP-7 Performance Optimized Polymer, (3) BigDye Terminator v3.1 5X Sequencing Buffer, and (4) HiDi Formamide. Companies with demonstrated capability and financial capacity to provide such items must submit a written substantive statement outlining the companys capabilities to the Contracting Officer within 15 days of publication of this notice. This is not a request for proposal nor is a solicitation available.
