Description: It is the purpose of this solicitation to secure services to apply Magnesium Chloride dust abatement to the 22-foot wide Greys River Road beginning at the end of the pavement approximately ? mile southeast of Alpine, Wyoming, and continuing for 35 continuous miles. Road preparation, including watering and blading, will be performed by Forest Service Road Maintenance personnel prior to application of the dust abatement. The Contractor will be responsible for furnishing all equipment, material, and labor necessary to deliver and spread the dust abatement products on the roads. The estimated start date for this project is September 1, 2006. The solicitation will be available on approximately July 25, 2006, and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
