- Description
- This is a Request for Proposals which will result in a firm-fixed price contract for reconstruction of roads FS Roads 73, 106, 220, 222, 220A, 73 & 106 in accordance with drawings and specifications. The contractor is to complete the project within 60 calendar days. This project is open to both large and small business. The successful offeror shall submit a performance and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, prior to beginning work. The government's estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. Site visit or pre-proposal information will be included in the solicitation. Award will be made based on the best value to the government and can be made on the initial offer. The project is located on the Caddo Ranger District, Ouachita National Forest, Montgomery County Arkansas. This solicitation will be available for download on or about July 14, 2006. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Telephone requests are discouraged. Interested vendors should register to receive email notifications through this site.
