- Description
- This is a Request for Proposals which will result in a firm-fixed price contract for constructing improvements to the North Shore Camp Loop and reconstruction of Forest Service Road 7270, Cedar Lake Recreation Area, Choctaw Ranger District, in accordance with drawings and specifications. The contractor is to complete the project within 240 calendar days. This project is open to both large and small business. The successful offeror shall submit a performance and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, prior to beginning work. The government's estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Award will be made based on the best value to the government and can be made on the initial offer. The project is located on the Choctaw Ranger District, Ouachita National Forest, LeFlore County, Oklahoma. Information on a site visit will be included in the Solicitation. This solicitation will be available for download on or about July 14, 2006. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Telephone requests are discouraged.
