Description

The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse (NIAAA) intends to negotiate with the CDM Group, Inc. a 12 month extension of contract NO1-AA-1-2009 to provide uninterrupted services of the Alcohol Policy Information System. This modification will extend the performance of the contract to the period ending September 13, 2007. This requirement is necessary while the Institute solicits and awards a 5 year competitive acquisition that implements some strategic changes in the direction and management of this program. Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation at 6.302-1 the CDM Group, Inc. is the only source capable of providing uninterrupted services of the Alcohol Policy Information System. This notice of intent is not an announcement of the availability of a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is an RFP available. See Numbered Note 22.
