Description

The scope of this project includes work associated with the steam, condensate and water utilities, and their wooden enclosure, located in the above ground passageway extending approximately 2,260 LF from Manhole #1 at the Power Plant to Manhole #5 at the Fire Station. Similar abatement and insulation work is included for four intervening manholes along this route. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to FAR 19.10, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program under the NAICS code 238990. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS, SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS AND AMMENDMENTS WILL BE AVAIALBLE ON THE INTERNET AND DRAWINGS WILL BE PROVIDE VIA CD ROM. Award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract and the total performance period will be 120 days. Note: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive award from a DOD activity. Contractors may access the site at http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program. The solicitation will be available on or about 1 Aug 2006.
