Description: This procurement is an Add-On Effort to existing Contract DAAE07-03-C-L149 with Alkan Shelter of Fairbanks, Alaska and is sole source to Alkan pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This Add-On Effort represents an expansio n of the research conducted thus far by Alkan Shelter on this contract involving Modular Logistics Transport Technology (MLTT). Specifically, this expanded research will include constructing a composite vehicle shelter and a modular command trailor-mounte d shelter system and then conducting limited testing of that shelter.
