Description

This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement; all responsible sources may submit an offer. The performance period for this project is 365 calendar days. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310, Other Heavy and Civil Engineerin g Construction, $31M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. The FSC Code is Y222. The estimated cost range of the project is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. The solicitation will be made available on or about 26 July 2006. If the aw arded offeror is a large business, they will be required to submit a Sub-Contracting Plan. The Los Angeles District Sub-contracting goals are as follows: 51.2% with Small Business, 8.8% with Small Disadvantaged Business, 7.3% with Woman Owned Small Busin ess, 1.5% with Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and 3.1% with Hub-Zone Small Business. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet only. Amendments to this solicitation will be issued as Internet only. No additional media (Compact Disks, Floppy Disks, Faxes or Paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary. An important notice to all potential offerors: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles has implemented a new proce dure for posting solicitations. As of 15 February 2006, the Electronic Bid Solicitations (EBS) system is no longer used to post solicitations. This Solicitation No. W912PL-06-B-0013, Litchfield Road Overpass Maricopa County, Arizona and all amendments fo r this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedTeds. The Litchfield Road Overpass project consists of construction of an overpass that will not restrict traffic flow at Litchfield Rd. that separates the West and East sides of the base to enhance Thunderbird Rd as a communicating passage connecting both sides . Relocate obstructing utilities if required and correct East side approach improving access to existing facilities and associated parking lots.
