Description
THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The Alaska District Corps of Engineers intends to specify proprietary and/or sole source equipment and systems for the Fire Alarm System in the Information Systems Facility (FTW299), Fort Wainwright, Alaska (FWA). The FW A fire alarm systems are: a proprietary Honeywell supervising station system that utilizes a networked Honeywell W7053 as the supervising station control unit and a Central Base Monaco D-21 Fire Management System. For panels utilizing the Honeywell system , connections from the fire alarm panel to the Honeywell W7053 must also communicate with the supervising station control unit. For communications with the Honeywell W7053 supervising station control unit, the fire alarm panel installed and the connection s from the fire alarm panel to the supervising station control unit for the Information Systems Facility must be compatible with and provide intelligent communications with the supervising station, permitting full monitoring and control of all devices from the supervising station and meet applicable National Fire Protection Code and UL listings. For communications with the Central Base Monaco D-21 Fire Management System. The fire alarm panel and radio transceiver installed and the transmissions from the f ire alarm panel to the supervising station control unit for the Information Systems Facility must be compatible with and provide intelligent communications with the supervising station, permitting full monitoring of all devices from the supervising station and meet applicable National Fire Protection Code and UL listings. THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties should indicate their capability by responding to this notice in the form of a letter or e mail (preferred) with standard marketing material describing how their equipment or system is compatible with the installed supervising station control units. All submittals received within 30 days after the date of publication will be evaluated by the Go vernment. Based on the responses to this notice, the Government retains the final right of determining whether to limit the competition for this requirement.
