Description

The BLM has a requirement to determine the condition of the well casing. The BLM seeks proposals for a thorough characterization of the well casing using down-hole camera techniques and borehole geophysics, as applicable. This information will be used to make long-term maintenance, water production, and leasing decisions. Tests and procedures that are part of the characterization work must be completed within a high-pressure down-hole environment and with minimal disruption to Park Center District water delivery operations. An official site tour will be offered on July 17, 2006 at 10AM. The person who will lead the tour is Melissa Smeins 719-269-8523, in the Royal Gorge Field Office at 3170 East Main Street, Canon City, CO 81212. This requirement is open to Total Small Business Set Asides. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $75,000.00. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders may print the bid documents to submit their bid by mail, or bids may be submitted electronically. No facsimile bids will be accepted. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about 07/07/06. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation.
