Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, with the exception of Government-furnished property, to repair eighteen (18) reservoirs. Of the 18 reservoirs, eight (08) are fill embankments and ten (10) are pit excavation. Work sited is located located in Blaine County, Montana. Work includes clearing, grubbing, excavating, embankment development, and core trenching for the construction of earth dams and pits. Work will include common excavation of approximately 12,850 cubic yards, and approximately 25,380 cubic yards of embankment work. Maps are included in the solicitation for the location of work site. The contractor will have 51 days to complete this project after Notice to Proceed is officially issued. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $25,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and may be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Contractors receiving government contracts must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA). Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov and ORCA at http://orca.bpn.gov. Lack of registration in the CCR database or ORCA will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. The solicitation for this project will be posted at http:/ideasec.nbc.gov during the week of July 24, 2006. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of August 7, 2006. A firm date will be stated in Section L of the Solicitation. Response date for quotes will be on or about August 23, 2006. NO hard copies will be sent out by this office. NAICS code for this project is 237110. Small business size standard is $31.0 million. See Note No. 1.
