- The US Geological Survey is seeking sources to issue an RFQ to for various analyses of mercury and monomethylmercury in natural geological materials including sediments and waters (total Hg in water at ng/L level, methyl Hg in water at ng/L level, total Hg in sediment at ng/g level, methyl Hg in sediment and precipitates, ultraclean filtration of water samples, speciation of Hg in solids - five-step sequential selective extraction, and percentage of solids). The contractor must be EPA-certified for these analyses. Analyses will be performed at the contractor's facility. Interested parties may request a copy of the RFQ by e-mail only (rdonez@usgs.gov) until the response date identified on this annoucement. This procurement is pending availability of funds and will be processed to the point of award.
