Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, St. Inigoes, MD intends to issue a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price, Contract for the duration of five years with AP Labs, Incorporated, 10864 Thornmint Road, San Diego, CA 92127-2402, to provide VME Chassis and ancillary equipment for the AN/UPX-24A(V) Interrogator Set Program. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source. A P Labs Incorporated currently possess the ancillary equipment electronically and mechanically identical to the FS-1290 P/N: 71290000-001 and meet all the MIL-STD requirements. A P Labs Incorporated is the only known manufacturer capable of producing the VME Chassis that meets the governments mimimum mandatory requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may submit information, no later than 30 days after this synopsis is published, which will be considered by this agency. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Hardware to be provided under the proposed Contract will span a period of five years tentatively beginning date of award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this action is 334111, size-standard of 1,000 employees.
