Description
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238290, and the size standard is $13,000,000.00. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment including diagnostic and calibration tool, transportation, materials and supplies necessary to perform elevator maintenance and repair services at the Naval Hospital, and Naval Complex Pensacola, FL. The Contractor shall perform semi-monthly elevator maintenance, monthly elevator maintenance, quarterly elevator maintenance and all necessary repairs for a base and options periods not to exceed 60 months. The contract will be a combination Firm Fixed-Price (FFP)/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The work will consist of routine and emergency service calls, an IMP program, including development and implementation of a PM program, and other recurring services. The Contractor shall maintain current all facility maintenance data and warranty records in the technical library and Maintenance Management System. Elevator equipment includes four (4) each passenger elevators with a load capacity of 4,000 lbs. servicing eight (8) landings, one (1) dumbwaiter which services three (3) landings, two (2) hydraulic elevators with two landings, computer controls and other accessorily equipment. The original elevators and dumbwaiter cabs, control devices and accessories were F.S. Payne equipment installed by GEMCO. The elevators and dumbwaiter door operators and control equipment have since been changed out with Montgomery Kone equipment and accessories. The components of the complete electronic control system for the above listed elevators consist of the ULTRON Power Controller, MIPROM 21 Individual Car Control, and MIPROM Group Control System. Each elevator is equipped with the JANUS EDGE Electronic Door Safety Device. This contract includes maintenance services on the ULTRON Elevator Poser Control System, which is a solid state based, microprocessor-controlled system. This system interfaces with the MIPROM 21 ? microcomputer Elevator Logic closed loop position control. The Montgomery Kone Elevator Company manufactures both the control systems and the door safety device system. The Montgomery system requires a special diagnostic-calibration tool to assist diagnosing any type of control related problem, and requires factory-trained personnel to work on the equipment. FFP work will be at the Naval Hospital, and IDIQ work throughout the Naval Complex Pensacola, FL. A non-Mandatory pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday 20 July 2006, in the conference room at the chiller plant on the West side of the Naval Hospital, W. Hwy. 98, Pensacola, FL.
