- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for repairs of fielded Hand Held Explosive Detectors (GE Ion Track, Inc. P/N P0007014-005MIL) Vapor Tracer 2. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a five-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) supply contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source?under the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-1?GE Ion Track, Inc. 205 Lowell Street, Wilmington, MA 01887, and to award a firm fixed price contract for commercial items awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, FAR Subpart 13.5. The minimum number of repairs is 15, while the maximum number of repairs is 330 Hand Held Explosive Detectors. Inspection and acceptance will be at FOB Destination NSWC Crane by the requiring technical activity.
