- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR Part 13, ?Simplified Acquisition Procedures?. Attached, please find five (5) files: a Request for Quote SSA-RFQ-06-1570 (RFQ / SF-18) (PDF) file and four (4) Word documents that contain the cover letter, a Statement Of Work (SOW), applicable commercial clauses 52.212-5 (please note, you must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award) and FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications (reps and certs). The reps and certs should be completed and submitted with quotes. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The RFQ number is SSA-RFQ-06-1060. The associated NAICS code is 423740 and the associated size standard is 100 employees. The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires the relocation of one Trane A/C condenser and to furnish and install one split system, 7.5 ton A/C unit per the attached SOW. A site visit is set up for Tuesday, July 18, 2006, 10:00 AM, EST at the Altmeyer Building, Main Lobby, 6401 Security Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21235. This will be a firm fixed price order. Offerors shall address all requirements in this combined synopsis/solicitation and failure to address a specification/requirement shall result in an offer that is ineligible for award. SSA anticipates awarding one contract resulting from this combined synopsis solicitation. Offers will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of quotations or offers. Award will be made based on technically acceptable, lowest priced offer. All interested vendors must submit a quote and the completed reps and certs no later than 4:00 PM, EST, 07/25/2006.
