Description: Project consists of road repair of Pomeroy Road on the Goosenest Ranger District, Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Items of work include saw cut and excavation of patch repairs; placement of granular filter meterial, crushed aggregate and hot bituminous asphalt; fog and chip seal of 3.86 road miles and paint striping center and fog lines on 10 road miles. There will be a base bid plus two option items. Price range is $250,000 to $500,000. Contract time will be 60 calendar days with an estimated start date of October 1, 2006. Solicitation will require submission of technical and price proposal. No pre-bid tour will be held. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about July 27, 2006.
