Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision to perform a complete HVAC replacement at the Memorial Building at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial. The work will consist of general construction, removal, and replacement of a boiler, chiller unit, duct work, cooling tower, and 12 plus coil fan units within the Memorial Visitor Center. The NAICS code is 238220. The small business size standard is $13.0 million. Estimated price range of the project is $250,000 to $500,000. Project performance time is 60 days after Notice to Proceed. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Progarm, Public Law 100-656. Accordingly, it is open to both small and large businesses. Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit will be scheduled (date and time will be provided in the bid package). The solicitation with specifications and drawings will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 28, 2006. No hard copies of the package will be mailed or issued. To receive the bid package you must download it from http://ideas.nbc.gov.
