- This notice is being modified to add a long sleeve shirt to this Request For Proposals Notification and to change the Minimum / Maximum award quantities on the short sleeve shirt. Items to be purchased are as follows: 1. Shirt Man's Short Sleeve Poly / Cotton Army 415 8405-01-374-8887 Min/Max: 72,000 / 334,800 2. Shirt Army Long Sleeve Poly Cotton Army 415 8405-01-311-9692 Min/Max:37,800 / 151,200 There will be 1 - 100% Term Option on both items. Multiple awards may be made. 3 monthly deliveries will be required starting 120 days after award to 1 of 5 locations. (New Cumberland,PA/San Joaquin,CA/Suffolk,VA/Travis,TX/Peckam,MI) Both shirts are to be made to Commercial Item Description CID-A-A-52112. The Pattern Date on both shirts is 25 April 1995. See Fed Bizz Opps Modification 02 for web address to order patterns. NOTE: This notice is NOT a solicitation. The solicitation HAS NOT yet been issued. It will not be issued until after July 31 2006. Once issued, the solicitation will provide a closing date, 30 days after the issue date.*** RFP SP0100-06-R-0089 is for the manufacture and delivery of Shirt Man?s Short Sleeve Army Green 8405-01-374-8887(s). This item is to be made in accordance with CID A-A-52112. The minimum quantity to be purchased is 144,000 each and a maximum of 240,000 each. One 100% option will be included in the solicitation and it will have the same minimum / maximum ordering quantities. Deliveries are required to be made to Suffolk, Virginia and / or San Joaquin, California starting 120 days after date of award. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Origin. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Participation. The Government anticipates that multiple awards may be made on this requirement. Best Value Source Selection procedures will be utilized for award evaluation purposes. Technical merit is more important than price in the award evaluation process. The solicitations evaluation factors, in descending order of importance, are as follows: Product Demonstration Model, Experience/Past Performance and DLA Mentoring Business Agreements Plan.
