- Description
- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Grain Marketing & Production Research Center, Manhattan, Kansas, requires a contract for DNA sequencing and template preparation. Deliveries shall be made Monday through Friday only between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., excluding Federal holidays, unless otherwise scheduled. The acquisition is being conducted on a Commercial Items Best Value basis. Evaluation criteria in no order of preference are price, quality control, rapid delivery and past performance. This is a cascade solicitation that is 100% set-aside for small business (less than $6 million average annual gross receipts for last three years). In the event no reasonable offers are received from responsible small businesses, then offers from large businesses will be considered. The solicitation will be available in Adobe Acrobat format for downloading July 28, 2006. The offer response date is scheduled for August 11, 2006.
