Description

Project involves repairing the dam slope and emergency spillway. Work on the dam slope includes clearing the dam face of trees and small brush, repairing the eroded area with compacted fill, and placing nonwoven geotextile and riprap four (4) feet higher than the existing riprap elevation. Work on repairing the emergency spillway includes stabilizing the head-cut area by placing embankment and shaping the open gully, placing an impermeable geomembrane, straw/hay bale check dams, and riprap, and placing straw erosion control matting and seeding. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-06-0087, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request For Quotes (RFQ) and will be available for downloading on or about July 31, 2006 at the website address http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Quote Visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process.
