Description

Repairs to Forest Service Road NFSR #99, Table Rock Road Asphalt Surfacing project includes but is not limited to ditch cleaning, asphalt resurfacing, erosion and sediment control and temporary traffic control. The Federal Highway Administration Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FP-03) supplemented by special project specifications are applicable to this requirement. The period of performance for this project will be 45 calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The project is located on the Grandfather Ranger District located in Burke County, North Carolina. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the project location at 10:00am sharp, local time on August 8, 2006. Project is located approximately 10 miles northwest of Morganton, NC. From Morganton take NC Hwy 181 North and turn left on SR 1263 which turns into NFSR 210. Turn left on NFSR 99. It is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED that all prospective bidders attend this meeting. The documents will be uploaded onto this site on July 28, 2006. You may register below to receive notification when the documents are uploaded. BID DUE DATE: September 1, 2006 at 2:00pm local time. This project is being solicited under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and IS NOT set aside for small business participation only.
