Description
The purpose of this amendment is to re-open the solicitation. During the initial technical review, The Department of State discovered ambiguities in section C (Scope of Work/Background) of the solicitation that require immediate clarification. Contractors who did not submit proposals by the original due date may do so if they can deliver fully responsive proposals by COB (5PM) Monday, July 31st. In lieu of this amendment, Contractors who submitted proposals by the original due date may submit revised proposals or indicate that their original proposal still reflects their current offer by emailing Thomas C. Lemole at LEMOLETC@State.gov. For the convenience of those parties already familiar with the pre-existing solicitation, please see below for a summary of changes to section C. The new solicitation file shall reflect these changes. REVISIONS TO SECTION C Revision 1: The Department of State hereby adds the paragraph to the text of section C.1. (BACKGROUND/SCOPE OF WORK) The contractor is required to abide by the terms and conditions of the contract and is not to impose conditions on the Department of State. Any issues or orders requiring clarification are to be addressed to the Contracting Officer?s Representative (COR) or the Contracting Officer (CO). Revision 2: The Department of State hereby deletes the last sentence of section: C.1.7 (Contractor to Coordinate with Attorney through the Contracting Officer) and replaces it with the paragraph below. If legal proceedings ensue as a result of the sale of a property or if legal action is taken against a third party or parties for matters relative to the sale or related transactions, the contractor will assist the Department of State in data compilation and in providing information pertinent to the Department?s preparation for such proceedings. If the contractor anticipates any administrative costs associated with providing such information, the contractor will inform the Department of State in advance of assessing charges for such assistance.
