- Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and supervision necessary to perform all work in accordance with the Statement of Work to replace existing narrow stile entrance door with new wide stile entrance door and install new electronic card locking system on building 900 at Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas 76908. The work includes, but is not limited to: remove existing narrow stile entrance door, replace door with wide stile entrance door, install new Electronic Card Access Locking System (ECALS) lockset compatible with existing base BEST B.A.S.I.S ECALS system. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238990 and the size standard is $13.0 million. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.1002(1), this acquisition is 100% Set Aside for Emerging Small Business Concerns. Offers or quotations under this acquisition are solicited from emerging small business concerns only. Offers that are not from an emerging small business shall not be considered and shall be rejected. The magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. Performance time shall not exceed 30 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a quote to be considered. The anticipated proposal due date is 2 Aug 2006 with anticipated award date of 9 Aug 2006. All requests for clarification relating to this RFQ must be brought to the attention of the contract specialist, SSgt Phillip Kaiser at (325) 654-3800 or faxed to (325)-654-5149. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The anticipated date for a site visit is 26 July 2006 at 9:30am. The exact date and time of the site visit and quote due date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price purchase order that will be awarded as a result of the quotations to the responsible quoter whose quote conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government based on past performance and price giving a slightly higher preference to price. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009 in order to receive award.
