- Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work in accordance with the specifications and drawings, specified herein, or as needed to fully complete the construction of the 16th OSS/OSTO and SERS facilities at Hurlburt Field, FL. (1) The 5,000 SF facility for 16th OSS/OSTO includes but is not necessarily limited to: a pre-engineered metal building structural system on a reinforced concrete foundation/slab-on-grade, exterior wall construction of CMU veneer on 6? studs, thermal insulation, interior partitions from steel studs, interior finishes, standing seam metal roof and fascia, plumbing, HVAC and electrical power, lighting, COMM & LAN systems, site utilities, site paving and all other incidental work as may be necessary to make the facility operational (2) The 4,000 SF facility for the SERE includes but is not necessarily limited to site civil work, concrete, carpentry, metal roofing and siding, insulation, doors and windows, new metal stud/gypsum partitions, carpet, ceramic tile, painting, acoustical ceils, toilet compartments, interior signage, fire extinguishers and cabinets, pre-engineered metal building, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, LAN & Comm, and all other incidental work as may be necessary to make the facility operational. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the contract documents. The issue date for this solicitation is projected to be on/or about 31 Jul 06. A site visit will be scheduled approximately 15 days from the solicitation issue date. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in CCR and complete the online representations and certifications will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, recommend registering immediately to be eligible for award. The solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov/. When the solicitation is posted, it can be viewed by going to the FEDBIZOPPS web site, FEDBIZOPPS for Vendors, USAF Offices, Air Force Special Operations Command-Locations, 16th Contracting Squadron. No hard copies of specifications or drawings will be provided.
