- The following is a presolicitation notice in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2. The Army Reserve Contracting Center (ARCC) Devens Satellite Office intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB), W912CD06B0001, for the following work: in strict accordance with the specifications, contractor shall provide all plant, labor, material, transportation, and supervision to Install Black Vinyl Fence with Black Vinyl Sliding Gates at the Londonderry Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC), Lond onderry, NH. Award shall be made to the single responsive, responsible contractor whose total aggregate price is low. However, an award may not result from the IFB due to funding constraints. Performance period will be 60 days after notice to proceed is issued. The magnitude of this project will be between $100,000 and $250,000. The relevant codes are: Federal Supply Class (FSC) Z224, North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) 238990, and Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 1799. Th is acquisition will be issued pursuant to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Program. Therefore the IFB will be issued UNRESTRICTED with regard to business s ize standard. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days. Companies must be registered with Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS) and Central Contractor Registration (CCR), as well as possess a Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). A site visit is scheduled tentat ively for Wednesday 26 July 2006, 9:00 AM EST at Londonderry AFRC, 64 Harvey Road, Londonderry, NH 03053-7411. Contractors are strongly encouraged to attend. The closing date for the IFB will be on or about 29 Aug 06. The firm date and time will be stated in the IFB. Potenti al bidders are responsible for monitoring the ASFI and FedBizOpps websites for the IFB package and any subsequent amendments.
