Description

U.S. Army Special Operations Command Fort Bragg has a requirement for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of airframe, engine and avionics; the exchange and repair of all aircraft systems and subsystems in accordance with (IAW) Part 91 of the Federal Aviation Regulations for a Beechcraft Super King Air (US Army C-12C) belonging to the US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), flying approximately 600 hours per year. The contract will also provide a fixed hourly rate for performing unscheduled maintenance as required by USASOC. The contractor shall be an authorized FAA Part 145 repair station and ensure that all parts and materials utilized in the accomplishment of this effort are as specified in the appropriate maintenance and parts manuals and conform to standard aviation industry engineering and manufacturing practices. The contractor shall assure that processing actions are accomplished IAW FAA regulations. The Contractor?s maintenance facility shall be within 350 nautical miles of Ft Bragg, North Carolina. The USASOC Flight Detachment will deliver to and pick up the aircraft at the designated maintenance facility. Coordination for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance will be done in advance as much possible. The contractor shall provide all FAA required documentation to USASOC Flight Detachment pertaining to the work performed in conjunction with this effort. The Government intends to make an award for a base year period of 1 Oct 06-30 Sep 07 with 4 one(1) year option periods. This requirement will be solicited under FAR Part 13.5 procedures.
