- SYNOPSIS: The 88th Contracting Squadron, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH intends to issue a combined synopsis/solicitation number FA8601-06-R-0046 for a contract for the full food service operation of Pitsenbarger Dining Hall at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The 88 CONS squadron anticipates issuing the combined synopsis/solicitation on or about 28 July 2006. Note that the proposed acquisition shall be a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The acquisition is for a base plus 2 option years commencing on or about 1 October 2006. Note that proposed acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns with the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 722310, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 5812 and size standard of $19M. A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached at this web site. Note that the PWS is a DRAFT copy and is subject to change. Additional solicitation documentation shall be issued with the combined synopsis/solicitation. No response to this notice is required. THIS EFFORT IS CONSIDERED COMMERCIAL IN NATURE AND ANY RESULTANT CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED IAW FAR PART 12. PLEASE NOTE THE SUSPENSE DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF CAPABILITIES PACKAGES IS NLT 2:00PM EST ON 18 MAY 2006. ***** Wright-Patterson Air Force Base anticipates a competitive acquisition under solicitation number FA8601-06-R-0046 for a full food service contract at Pitsenbarger Dining Hall Facility at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. This sources sought synopsis is issued to determine if there are contractors capable of and interested in supplying the required item. The Performance Work Statement can be found as an attachment to this announcement. ***** All sources capable of providing the required service are being sought. In addition to the information provided in the Capabilities Package described below, responding parties must also indicate their size status in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 722310, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 5812 (size standard $19.0M). Sources should identify and address if they are a large, small, 8(a), woman owned, Hub zone, or otherwise classified as a small disadvantaged business in their responses. ***** CAPABILITIES PACKAGE: All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that outlines their firm?s capabilities in providing the required service. The capabilities package should include enough information on a firm?s proposal in order for the Government to determine if it meets the minimum requirements in the Performance Work Statement.
