Description

The Government intends to award one fixed-price MILCON contract, subject to the availability of funds, for the construction of a water works system for Camp Victory, Baghdad, Iraq. Contractor is to supply the expertise, materials, labor and equipment necessary to design and construct a prefabricated metal building and install four (4) 400,00 gallons per day, skid mounted, municipal type, reverse osmosis water purification units (ROWPU) together with all necessary piping to connect existing storage ta nks, new water point, and other plant equipment. The Work also includes the design and construction of pipelines; media filter relocation, and paving. All responsible sources are invited to submit a proposal. This solicitation will be awarded on a Best Va lue Trade-off basis. Award is expected to be made in the first or second week of September 2006. Offerors please take note that no logistical support will be provided by the Government for this contract. Solicitation Magnitude: Estimated between U.S. dollars $5 million and $10 million and Subject to Availability of Funds. Site Location: Camp Victory, Baghdad, Iraq. Point of Contact: The solicitation will be placed on the Baghdad Business Center website at http://www.baghdadbusinesscenter.org on August 2, 2006 for a period of 30 days.
