- Description
- The Senior Advisor will be located within USAID/Washington and will work in the Office of Human Resources. The Senior Advisor will serve as the Agency?s ombudsperson for administration and management of its recruitment and staffing of Critical Priority Countries (CPCs) as designated by the Administrator. For the 2007/8 bidding cycle, the CPCs include Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, and Sudan. The incumbent will provide a liaison role within USAID between M/HR, Regional Bureaus and other Agency senior managers, and Missions designated as CPCs. The incumbent will provide outreach to Agency staff considering CPC assignments and/or those already assigned and their families. The incumbent will maintain a working relationship with the Department of State and other Agencies, in regards to Allowances, Benefits, and Legislative matters relating to these country specific assignments. The incumbent may also be required to travel to the CPC Missions to familiarize him/herself with staffing issues and provide backstopping.
